I’m going to tell the second guy to ask guy #1 for the bike because I sold it to him and already cashed his cashiers check and gave the bike to his mover. That being said I did successfully sell a bike to a local guy last weekend on craigslist. He just called me and we had a deal in about 30 seconds.
Anyway feel free to text and call they folks and ask them how the move is going. Must be tough to be buying a bike at the last minute and have to work through an intermediary to make all your purchases, using cashiers checks.

It’s like in their twisted little world, you have to sell to anyone who (allegedly) will meet your price. Like they can compel you. Like transactions aren’t voluntary.

These messages are so disjointed I don’t even fully understand how they are expecting to get money out of me.

The disjointed mess of the messages are unfortunately intentional; they do it so that only the most vulnerable people will respond and get taken advantage of

Spoofing numbers is incredibly easy.

They spoof a local number to get you suckered in. I deal with this all the time when I Craigslist stuff, but I will fuck with them endlessly though. Jack up the price, get them all hopped up that I will take a check and then tell them it sold for way higher than they offered. Usually they just ignore you at that point but I had one guy rant at me. Its really awesome when it is via email and they send you a form to fill out. I will send them the address to the local PD with a fake name or the name of the Chief of Police.
